TJ Hartman Racing - Update: Fresh!

Puyallup, WA - November 23, 2010...

Immediately following the race in Yakima, TJ and his team removed the Wesmar engine from its Maxim chassis, and shipped it back to Bixby Oklahoma for its yearly freshen up.  This week, the Fed Ex truck pulled into the snow covered driveway in Puyallup and opened the door to reveal the ASCS 360 powerplant ready for battle again.

The preparedness for 2011 is way ahead of schedule, with very little left to do before re-assembly begins.  TJ elaborates on his status:  "We just have a couple things left to do.  I'm going to send the brake rotor in to be re-coated, and that's basically about it.  We want to work on getting the trailer in a little better order this year, but we'll have to budget for that.  I don't think we've ever been this ready so long before a racing season begins."

All of the work hasn't been reserved to the shop.  Following each racing season, TJ has put together a short video to commemorate the year.  "It's a lot of fun going back though the pictures and video" TJ states.  "I really enjoy doing these and sharing them with everyone.  2010 was a season that I had a lot of anxiety at the beginning because of our budget, and then when I crashed in the first race out, I really thought we were done again.  I can't thank everyone enough for getting me back out there, and I dedicate this video to them.  I have been re-uploading some of my past videos too, so you can watch them with the sound intact.  You-tube has relaxed their music policy, so either site will work now.  I also want to thank all of the people who took videos and pictures and allowing us to use their work in this project."

You can access the 2010 video at on the media page, or click directly on the following link:

Don't forget to visit the web site and join both the Twitter and Facebook pages.  We're still trying to get everyone to get registered on the web site for the email updates, and we encourage everyone to show your support by signing up and encouraging your friends to do so as well.  TJ and his team want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and a safe and happy Holiday Season.  In TJ's words: "I want to thank everyone for your support and if you're traveling, remember to be safe by buckling up and looking ahead!  You can't be too careful with all of those crazy drivers out there!"

Next scheduled stop -  Turkey & Stuffing!
