TJ Hartman Racing - Update: Return to Big Sky Country!

Puyallup, WA - August 14, 2011...

The last time TJ visited the Electric City Speedway in Great Falls Montana, he was skipping his High School graduation.  Now just a little more than a year later, he will return to Montana with a little more knowledge of the track, and prepare for three nights of action.  The Montana Speedweek kicks off Wednesday night at Great Falls, and then moves to Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade on Friday, before returning to Great Falls to finish out the week on Saturday night.  This will be TJ's first visit to Gallatin Speedway, and his first time back in his Wesmar powered Maxim in over a month.

During his last visit, the Electric City crowd welcomed the Puyallup, WA teenager with a resounding round of applause as he introduced himself on the front stretch and explained his attire - a graduation cap and gown.  The warm welcome made it all the easier to make plans for a return.  TJ talks about the decision:  "The moment I heard that crowd cheer, I knew we would be coming back.  We had a lot of fun racing the track, but the people there were great.  We've wanted to get back over there several times, but just couldn't make it work.  I've been helping out on a couple of teams locally this year when I'm not racing because my racing schedule for this season is pretty limited, but we made sure to include Montana in the races I will run this year."

TJ made the A-main on both nights of the ASCS Northwest sanctioned event in 2010, and he hopes to improve on his 13th, and 8th place finishes.  "Electric City was an easy track for me to get comfortable with.  I really like the size and shape of the track,"  TJ states.  "I'm excited to get over there and also to see the Belgrade track.  It's a long way over there, but getting to run three nights in four days will be a lot of fun."

TJ's team will be posting updates throughout the four day trip on the TJ Hartman Racing Facebook fan page, as well as his twitter account at: Follow along and cheer TJ on!

The TJ Hartman Racing Team is on a limited schedule this year, but we appreciate the full time support everyone continues to give us, and ask that you support those who support us.  Without each and every one of you, our fun-filled nights would not be possible.

Next scheduled stop - Mountain Time Zone!
