EBR Motorsports #VIII in action!

TJ Hartman Racing - Update: Looking Forward!

Puyallup, WA - February 24, 2013...

While weather hampers his race schedule in Australia, TJ has been busy putting the finishing touches on some exciting news here at home.  Together with EBR Motorsports, the Puyallup WA based driver is pleased to announce a three race deal that will find him behind the wheel for the Edmonton, AB Canada based sprintcar team.  With three dates confirmed, the team also has a fourth date set as tentative.

With sponsorship from The Powder Station, Lisa's Ledgers, The Decal Shop, and Pop's Chops "Functional Junk", the team will first pair up on August 10th for the Extreme Cup at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, and then again for two nights on August 29th and 31st at Skagit Speedway for the Sportsman Sprintcar Invitational.  The August 31st show at Skagit will be as a support class for the World of Outlaws.  A tentative date is also being set as August 24th.

The Edmonton date will be Hartman's first trip to the high banked 3/8 mile clay oval, and he is looking forward to adding another challenge to his resume.  TJ talks about the opportunity: "It has been great to meet Scotty (team owner Scotty Evans) and have another person in my life that I can call upon for advice and guidance.  He reminds me of Marshall in some ways; how he gets you to think.  So it really is special to get to drive his car and work with his team.  I can't wait to get up to Castrol!"

Evans puts extensive effort into ensuring that his race team is connected with the local communities.  His EBR Motorsports team donates 100% of all prize and tow money to an organization called KidSport Edmonton.  "We're very excited to have TJ on-board to help with the EBR Motorsports KidSport Edmonton Charity Drive" states Evans. "When TJ and I talked to KidSport a week ago, the executives were very impressed."

"KidSport is a great organization that is out to help the kids," adds TJ. "It will be a great experience to work with them.  From growing up racing quartermidgets, I know what it's like for an organization to try and raise money for kids activities.  I look forward to helping them and all the kids in the program."

The Pride of Puyallup is set to make 2013 one to remember.  TJ finishes: "Scotty and I both have some goals for success.  His sponsors and projects are important to us and I can't wait to get up there and meet them."
