TJ with EBR Motorsports & Liz Herbert for KidSport Edmonton

TJ Hartman Racing PR - Summer and KidSport!

Edmonton, AB Canada - July 5, 2013...

Just as Summer starts to heat up, so will TJ, as he teams up with EBR Motorsports for KidSport Edmonton and a 12 race stint covering Alberta, Montana, and Washington.  The schedule kicks off this weekend and will find the Puyallup, WA native taking on some new and unfamiliar race tracks.  It's a challenge TJ has faced before, and he is undaunted by the task.

TJ will be teamed with EBR Motorsports out of Edmonton to run a winged Sportsman Sprint, as well as a handful of races behind the wheel of his own ASCS360 winged sprintcar, with KidSport Edmonton on board for the duration. "It is a pleasure to have the opportunity to represent KidSport." states the 21 year old. "I was fortunate to get involved in motorsports when I was young, and anytime we can help young kids get interested in any type of sports, it's a good thing.  This is a great fit."

A plan was already in place, dating back to earlier this Spring, to have TJ run the EBR Motorsports car for a few races.  Things changed quickly, and with nothing tying him to a set schedule, he was able to add the additional dates with help from EBR Motorsports.  It's a schedule that has appeal for the racer and the fans.  TJ talks about the changing developments: "Scotty Evans and Lisa Davies have been so supportive of me, and this is just a great opportunity.  I'm looking forward to getting back on the track and also interacting with the fans and talking about what KidSport does.  It's a great way to get the word out and support the organization.  Their motto is 'so all kids can play', and our goal is to help them achieve that."

The EBR Motorsports team will be donating 100% of the purse money earned, as well as any tow money, directly to KidSport Edmonton.  For more information about KidSport, and to find out how you can become involved and help a kid get started in any form of sports, visit the web site at: www.kidsportedmonton.com

The team gets started this weekend with a pair of races Saturday and Sunday at Central Alberta Raceways in Rimbey, Alberta.  Next stop will be this coming Wednesday in Great Falls Montana at Dan Mann's Electric City Speedway, to take on the ASCS National Tour and Montana's top drivers.  Then the team will head back to Edmonton for the prestigious Gold Cup and two more nights at Edmonton's Castrol Raceway.  This month will close out at Castrol Raceway for the July 31st Race of Champions.  TJ will be in his 360 sprintcar for the invitational event that also draws the Northern Provincial Pipelines Late Model Series, and will bring NASCAR stars Michael Waltrip, Dave Blaney, Kenny Schrader, and Sterling Marlin to Castrol Raceway.

The heat continues in August with a pair of nights in the EBR Motorsports Sportsman Sprint, before climbing back in his own car to run with the best sprintcar drivers in the world when the World of Outlaws invade Edmonton.  August closes out at Skagit Speedway for the Sportsman Sprint Showdown on August 29th and 31st, as an under card to the World of Outlaws.  All of the dates are what TJ and KidSport Edmonton are looking for - high profile, running with the best drivers, in front of the best fans.  It's a challenge the team is up for.

More info and exact dates can be found on the schedule page of TJ's web site at: http://tjhartmanracing.com/index.php/schedule/173-tj-hartman-racing-2013-schedule-results The team is also searching for additional dates, venues, and partners to keep KidSport Edmonton in front of the people who have a passion for motorsports, and all forms of sports.  Contact information can be found on TJ's web site, if you want to get involved in a great organization with a great person, and driver.

TJ Hartman Racing welcomes Lisa's Ledgers and The Decal Shop, as well as KidSport Edmonton, to the quality list of marketing partners already onboard.  "I enjoy being associated with quality people, and it's a pleasure to add these to the great sponsors I've had for years."  states TJ.
