TJ Hartman Racing - UPDATE - Rookie Season Recap with the Magic Number 19!

Puyallup, WA - October 27, 2008...

TJ planned his rookie season in a sprint car. He created all of the details, including where to race, how to approach the season, and where he wanted to end up with his Wesmar powered Maxim. He chose his favorite number, 19, a long time ago. He became a fan of World of Outlaws star, Pennsylvania native, and second generation driver #19 Stevie Smith, at the age of 6. It would become his trademark as well. Since then, many things in TJ's life encompass the number 19. Subtract out the two attempts to race this year that resulted in rainouts, and not surprisingly, the number 19 magically appears. TJ insists this wasn't planned though. "I would have rather raced those two more times!" he states with a laugh. "But it is kinda cool how it was 19 races and it wasn't planned. Maybe next year it will be 19 top 5's(finishes), because I really don't want to stick to just 19 races every year!"

The Lacey Auto Licensing, A1A BuyNSell, Beach Hut Vacations, Rockslinger Inc., Advanced Powder Coating, Performance Coatings, sprint car team is done for the season, and making plans for 2009. TJ puts a cap on his rookie season: "I'm glad all of my sponsors, fans, and team were with me for my rookie season. We had fun, and every one of them shared in my excitement. I can't wait to do it again next season, and hope everyone comes along for the ride again."

Details of TJ's Rookie Season Recap are provided in the PDF file attached. The information includes his updated bio, with information and pictures outlining the teams successful 2008 season. The presentation is set in a nice binder, and is sure to retain the memories for years to come. Anyone that wishes to have a hard copy for themselves, can email TJ, and one will be mailed out.

Several dedicated Grays Harbor Raceway fans videotaped and took pictures at many of the races. Friend and racing fan, Nathan Prince, compiled a short video of TJ's 2008 season on the big 3/8's mile clay oval. "I want to thank Nathan and Aaron for getting the videos, and Fletch, Nicki, John, Jerry, Ben, and Stacey for taking all the pictures. We were too busy and excited all the time to get video of my races, and they all did a great job of getting the memories for us."
