TJ Hartman Racing - UPDATE - TJ - Busy Getting Ready for 2009!

Puyallup, WA - December 7, 2008...

With the off-season, comes work. TJ has always focused on preparedness in his racing program, and the team has already been busy preparing for 2009. The focus isn't limited to the hardware, and TJ is excited with the direction he is headed.

A year ago, TJ was provided the opportunity to attend his first Performance Racing Industry show in Orlando, FL. This week, he heads back there to meet with the biggest names at the worlds largest racing trade show. TJ states with excitement: "The PRI show is great. I learned a lot last year, and met some great people. I was hoping to be able to attend again, and I'm happy to be going. I know more of what to expect this year, and I'll be able to focus more on meeting the people who make all of the parts for racing. I'm hoping to see some new products, and go back and see some of the people I met last year."

The Performance Racing Industry trade show gives industry representatives an opportunity to display and review the latest advances in racing technology and products. The 1,000,000 square foot Orange County Convention Center plays host to over 1,400 hardcore racing exhibiting companies from around the world. The show runs December 11-13, 2008. More info can be found here: TJ adds: "It's going to be great. I can't wait!"

The focus isn't just on the things that are new. TJ has been making sure to take care of current business as well. He continues: "I've been talking with my sponsors from 2008, and making plans to move forward with each of them. So far, everything is looking pretty good. I was a little worried because of everything that is going on with the economy. Racing isn't exactly on everyone's priority list. I've got a couple of new people I've been talking to about coming on board in 2009, and I'll have some news about that after the New Year. My sponsors from 2008 are really excited, and we'll be doing some write-ups after the PRI show."

There is plenty of work left to do before opening day of 2009, but TJ has a good jump on everything. He finishes the update: "Our engine is at Wesmar right now, and should be done any day. We have some new wings to replace the ones I crashed, and we've picked up some more spare parts that were on our list. We want to add a few more races to the schedule, and we're waiting on the (race)tracks to get that finished up. My safety gear is my next focus. I'm still growing, so I may have to replace some of the things I bought last year, but we'll see. My dad keeps sitting on me trying to squish me back down!" He adds with a smile: "I'm not sure that's going to work!"

TJ Hartman Racing is grateful for the support from our 2008 sponsors, and we encourage you to show your enthusiasm for the team by supporting those who support us.
